“Erica was a saving grace for me as a first time mom navigating breastfeeding and all things baby. She provided support and guidance for my son and I those first couple months. It truly made my postpartum experience so enjoyable. Working with her really helped me gain confidence as a first time mom! She provided a safe non judgmental space for us to be vulnerable and learn. I expected to get breastfeeding support but received so much more. Some of the most valuable tools she gave me was how to connect with my son while working towards his developmental milestones. Recommend her services 100x over, our experience was amazing.”

“Erica truly is the lactation consultant that does it all! When our 2 month old was having issues taking a bottle, we were very quickly connected through The Lactation Network and in less than a week we had an appointment! Erica has stuck with us for months no matter what our little one throws at us. From body work, to oral exercises, bottle and breastfeeding, Erica takes a holistic approach to really get to the root of each issue. She has been a constant support for our feeding issues, and with pre- and post-care due to a lip and tongue tie release. She comes to our home to eliminate travel for us, and after every appointment we get a detailed care plan with exercises to work on, as well as video demonstrations to help us remember what each one should look like! I would absolutely recommend Erica to anyone, it has been a game changer to have one provider who is knowledgeable in so many areas of need.”

“Erica was such a joy to work with while navigating some difficult issues with my baby. My daughter had a tongue and lip tie released and Erica worked with us prior to the procedure to strengthen her oral motor function and help set her up for a successful release. She then showed me how to do the post-op stretches and exercises and equipped me with the tools I needed. Erica followed up with us after the procedure and made sure my daughter was progressing as she should as well as working on strengthening exercises. Erica also helped so much with my pumping journey since I had only exclusively breastfed my first child. She was a huge help and was always available to answer questions and to give advice. I could not have made it through those difficult months of triple feeding my daughter without her help! I was also extremely thankful for her OT help with my daughters motor skills as well as the craniosacral work she did with my daughter. It helped her so much and I could tell such a difference in her on the days when Erica performed the craniosacral therapy and I was so thankful for that service as well. Erica even helped with learning to eat solids when it came time to introduce those. Erica is truly such an amazing resource with her OT and lactation knowledge! We are so grateful for her and all of her help and cannot recommend her enough!”

“Erica has been an absolute blessing for my son! I originally sought out her services for craniosacral therapy/ massage for my son’s torticollis after physical therapy didn’t help. Since we started weekly visits with Erica, he has excelled in leaps and bounds. Erica made him feel comfortable, has helped with his range of motion, head control, and strength. She evaluated and addressed his whole body as it is all interconnected, and through her whole-body approach he is now pain free and his torticollis is gone!

Additionally, I had started having breastfeeding difficulty around that same time, and because of Erica’s help, we discovered my son had a lip and tongue tie! She has helped with his oral-motor skills, latch, and feeding efficiency. I cannot recommend her services enough. My only wish is that we would have found her sooner!”

“Can’t say enough wonderful things about Erica with Nurture and Nourish. After struggling to breastfeed and getting a “failure to thrive,” we were able to make adjustments to my baby’s latch and start exercises that helped us gain 2 pounds in the first month - in spite of having a lip and tongue tie. My pediatrician was absolutely amazed (and surprised that we had not switched to formula like she recommended). We’ve continued seeing Erica for developmental support and continuing to support my baby’s fascia system when starting to crawl and pull up. Starting care with Nurture & Nourish has one of my best first time mom decisions!”

“We are so thankful to have found Erica as a resource. We saw her for lactation services and craniosacral therapy. After learning my baby had a tongue tie, we were left with so many questions and concerns on how to best help him. Erica’s approach to addressing the whole body with craniosacral therapy was exactly what he needed. Her knowledge on breastfeeding was so valuable to me as a first time mom! My baby has made so much progress and I am now confident on how to best help him. Our breastfeeding journey has significantly improved.”

“I could not recommend Erica more. As a mom of three, the unchartered territory of a tongue and lip tie and related feeding issues presented challenges that my husband and I were completely unprepared for. We came to her desperate for answers to help our bottle-fed baby who would scream through his feedings despite having done a tongue tie release. Erica is extremely methodical and patient in how she approaches our baby, never rushing, always asking our/baby’s preferences and honoring those while sharing her extensive knowledge and techniques. After our first visit, we went from one hour or longer feedings that we were dreading because our son seemed so uncomfortable to a happy, relaxed eater than can finish a bottle in a fraction of the time without any upset- it is like we have a different baby. She has given us numerous tools for feedings, oral motor work, and gas/colic. To say that we are appreciative of the work she has done with our baby is an understatement. Thank you, Erica!”

“As a breastfeeding mom looking to introduce a bottle to my 3-month old, I was consistently given the advice that someone else should introduce a bottle, I should not be around when this happens, and that we should not breastfeed the baby until the bottle was taken, no matter how long that took or how much they cried. After weeks of trying every method in the book and my baby crying any time we mentioned the word "bottle", I was desperate. I felt that there should be another way for me as the mother to be involved in the bottle feeding process, especially as my child experienced seperation anxiety any time we followed the "traditional guidance"- enter Erica.

Erica conducted an oral examination to help identify any potential underlying obstructions and introduced tricks and tips unique to our child which helped them accept a bottle in just a few sessions! Ironically, my baby first accepted the bottle from mom! Additionally, with her background as an OT, Erica has been helping our now 4-month old learn to roll and improve positioning of their body in tummy time to prepare for crawling. I cannot say enough amazing things about Erica's love for children, patience, and professional guidance as a lactation consultant and OT. I highly recommend Erica to anyone looking for a significantly less stressful approach to bottle introduction with their breastfed baby!”

VIRTUAL VISIT

“Context: 7 week old baby had excessive gas. We went to 3 different pediatricians and they all suggested I stop breastfeeding and start to formula feed our baby because he might be intolerant to breast milk. It was my intention to breastfeed our son for as long as possible so I started doing research and came across Erica, she was very kind and empathetic with our desire to continue to breastfeed. She offered comprehensive explanation of techniques to prevent gas and to help our baby release it. Plus she gave me options and positions that were comfortable for me during c section recovery. We had one session and I'm already noticing less discomfort in our baby. Sometimes breastfeeding does not come as natural as we think it will be, so for me it's best to seek professional support. In my case, Erica made me feel safer by giving me the guidance and confidence I needed to nourish our baby, knowing I'm doing the best I can on my end.”

“Erica is the best! My 8 week old baby wasn’t taking a bottle despite trying daily for 2 weeks. Very stressful. Maternity leave was coming to an end so I reached out to Erica. She figured out that my baby had some strength and coordination issues as well as a tongue tie. Erica has tons of different bottles and pacis to try and with her help, my baby started taking a bottle in around 2 weeks. Now I am back to work and she is taking 3-4 bottles while I’m gone. I’m very thankful for Erica’s help.”

“Erica was wonderful and I highly recommend her services! She is kind, professional, knowledgeable and she will help you achieve your feeding goals whatever they may be. It was an added benefit to work with a lactation consultant who is also an OT. I have twins who were premature and have poor oral function and going in was feeling defeated in my breastfeeding journey. After working with her I am confidently able to provide both my girls breastmilk and am happy with our feeding journey!”

“We had a great experience with Nature and Nourish! We saw great progress with mobility and our child’s tracking ability after starting craniosacral therapy. Our child’s chiropractor and PT also noticed her immediate improvement. Erica’s calm and nurturing personality put us all at ease. You can tell that she truly loves her job and is great at what she does for our babies!”

— Kimberly

“Erica has been amazing to work with! Our son was born at 34 weeks and as soon as we were discharged from the NICU- I knew I needed help! We contacted her and she came to the house that weekend! She listened, is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I highly recommend her for all of your lactation needs!”
